Weekend w/My Mother

It doesn't get much better than facials, manicures, shopping, dinner, and my all time favorite Little America Hotel. My mom came up and we spent the weekend in Salt Lake for some girly bonding :). Getting on the wrong trax at one point and a creepy ghost encounter only made the trip more entertaining. Seriously though, a ghost tucked us in bed Saturday night. (no joke HILARIOUS)

It's Blood or Mud...

It gets real fancy in Ferron, UT and when you have a 4th of July BBQ/Birthday Party to go to you need to look semi decent. As I attempted to get ready to go up to my Aunt Julies, I realized most of what I brought home to wear had either blood or mud covering them.

Saturday Chase, Pops and myself tagged some baby calves to haul up on the mountain with the rest of our herd. After ear marking them I had quite a bit of blood covering my clothes. Thus the blood part. The mud however would be from moving handlines every day, which not only make your clothes muddy but you also get eaten alive by mosquitos.

Being that my little brother Taylor is off living in Detroit, I was able to ride his horse Butter and herd our cows up to Stevens Creek with my Pops and older brother Chase. The only thing that would have made it better were if Taylor were with us (and we had an extra horse or course).
